Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit Architecture: Essential Skills for Future Civil Engineers Seminar at Dhaka International University

On 10 July 2026 (Friday), CADD Centre Bangladesh, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering, Dhaka International University (DIU), successfully organized an insightful seminar titled "Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit Architecture: Essential Skills for Future Civil Engineers."
The seminar aimed to introduce students to the importance of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Autodesk Revit Architecture in modern civil engineering practices. The session highlighted how BIM technologies are transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and creating new career opportunities for future engineers.
The event was graced by Mr. Hasan Tariq, CEO of CADD Centre Bangladesh, whose inspiring remarks emphasized the importance of acquiring industry-oriented technical skills to meet the evolving demands of the engineering profession.
The keynote presentation was delivered by Mr. Shakhawat Hossen Apurba, Lead Trainer of the Civil Department at CADD Centre Bangladesh. Through an engaging presentation and practical insights, he demonstrated the applications of BIM and Revit Architecture in planning, designing, collaboration, and project execution.
