CADD Centre Bangladesh conducted a successful seminar on “SolidWorks, ANSYS and CATIA for Mechanical Engineering Applications” at the Mechanical Department of UCASM – United College of Aviation Science & Management, Uttara, Dhaka on 04 September 2025. The event was attended by a large number of students and faculty members from the Mechanical Department. The seminar focused on industry-oriented design and simulation technologies, including SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CATIA, which are widely used in modern manufacturing, product design, automotive, aerospace, and mechanical engineering industries. Mr. Hasan Tariq, CEO of CADD Centre Bangladesh, was present at the seminar and delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of advanced CAD, CAE, and product development skills for engineering graduates. The technical presentation was conducted by Mr. Rubayat Alam Riyad, Lead Mechanical Trainer of CADD Centre Bangladesh, who demonstrated practical workflows in 3D CAD modeling, engineering simulation, product analysis, and industrial design applications. The program was also graced by the presence of distinguished representatives of UCASM, including: Commodore M. Anwarul Haque (Retd.) – Principal Wing Commander Shangida Sharmin (Retd.) – Vice Principal (Admin) Wing Commander ATM Nazrul Islam (Retd.) – Chief Advisor The respected guests shared their valuable opinions on industry-academia collaboration, practical engineering education, and the importance of professional certification for employability. The seminar was completed successfully with active participation from students and faculty members. বিশ্বখ্যাত আইটি ও ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট প্রতিষ্ঠান ক্যাড সেন্টার-এর বাংলাদেশভিত্তিক মাস্টার ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজি বাংলাদেশ ফাউন্ড্রি অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ওয়ার্কস লিমিটেড টেকনিক্যাল ট্রেনিং সেন্টার (BFEW TTC) এবং ইউনিভার্সিটি অব ইনফরমেশন টেকনোলজি অ্যান্ড সায়েন্সেস (UITS)-এর মধ্যে দক্ষতা ও জ্ঞানভিত্তিক শিক্ষা বিনিময় বিষয়ক একটি সমঝোতা স্মারক (MoU) স্বাক্ষর এবং একটি বিশেষ ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। আজ মঙ্গলবার (২৮ অক্টোবর) রেভিট আর্কিটেকচার, অটো-ক্যাড, স্টাড প্রো ও ইট্যাবস-এর উপর সফটওয়্যারভিত্তিক একটি বিশেষ ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেমিনার রাজধানীর বারিধারায় অবস্থিত ইউআইটিএস ক্যাম্পাসে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। যেখানে শিক্ষার্থীরা আধুনিক বিল্ডিং ডিজাইন, সিমুলেশন ও স্ট্রাকচারাল সফটওয়্যারের ব্যবহারিক ধারণা অর্জনের পাশাপাশি ক্যারিয়ার ডেভেলপমেন্ট সম্পর্কিত বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে জানার সুযোগ পায়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিএফইডাবলিউ টিটিসির প্রোপ্রাইটর ও ক্যাড সেন্টার বাংলাদেশের সিইও জনাব হাসান তারিক, ইউআইটিএস-এর ফ্যাকাল্টি অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অ্যান্ড সায়েন্স-এর ডিন প্রফেসর ড. আশরাফুল ইসলাম, সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান মো. মহিউদ্দিন আহমেদ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রক্টর মো. তারিকুল ইসলাম, ক্যাড সেন্টার বাংলাদেশের চিফ মার্কেটিং অফিসার কে. এইচ. সাইফ উল হুদা, বিজনেস ডেভেলপমেন্ট ম্যানেজার মো. হাফিজউদ্দিন মুন্না, ক্যাড সেন্টার বাংলাদেশের সিভিল ডিপার্টমেন্টের লিড ইন্সট্রাক্টর জনাব শাখাওয়াত হোসেন অপূর্ব এবং ইউআইটিএস-এর সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী ও কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ। ক্যাড সেন্টার বাংলাদেশের সিইও জনাব হাসান তারিক বলেন, দেশে ও দেশের বাইরের জব মার্কেটের জন্য দক্ষ জনশক্তির কোনো বিকল্প নেই। বর্তমান বিশ্বে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং শিক্ষার মূল শক্তি হলো ব্যবহারিক জ্ঞান ও সফটওয়্যারভিত্তিক দক্ষতা। শুধু তাত্ত্বিক জ্ঞান দিয়ে আজকের প্রতিযোগিতামূলক শিল্পবিপ্লবে টিকে থাকা সম্ভব নয়। আমাদের লক্ষ্য বাংলাদেশের তরুণ প্রকৌশল শিক্ষার্থীদের বৈশ্বিক দক্ষতার সঙ্গে পরিচিত করে তোলা, যাতে তারা দেশীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক কর্মক্ষেত্রে সমানভাবে প্রতিযোগিতা করতে পারে। ইউআইটিএস-এর ফ্যাকাল্টি অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অ্যান্ড সায়েন্স-এর ডিন প্রফেসর ড. আশরাফুল ইসলাম বলেন, বর্তমান বিশ্বে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং খাত দ্রুত প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর হয়ে উঠছে। শিক্ষার্থীদের শুধু পাঠ্যপুস্তকভিত্তিক শিক্ষা নয়, বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতাভিত্তিক প্রশিক্ষণও অত্যন্ত জরুরি। ক্যাড সেন্টার বাংলাদেশের সঙ্গে এই সহযোগিতা সেই লক্ষ্য পূরণে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে। ইউআইটিএস সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান মো. মহিউদ্দিন আহমেদ বলেন, এ ধরনের প্রয়োগমুখী শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম শিক্ষার্থীদের বিশ্বমানের ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং দক্ষতা অর্জনে সহায়তা করবে এবং আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে ক্যারিয়ার গড়ার নতুন সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করবে। চুক্তি অনুযায়ী, ক্যাড সেন্টার বাংলাদেশ ইউআইটিএস-এর শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক মানসম্পন্ন কারিকুলামের মাধ্যমে দক্ষতা ও জ্ঞানভিত্তিক প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করবে, যার মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা আধুনিক শিল্প ও প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক কর্মক্ষেত্রের জন্য নিজেদের আরও দক্ষ করে তুলতে পারবে। উল্লেখ্য, ক্যাড সেন্টার গত ৩৭ বছর ধরে বিশ্বের ২৪টিরও বেশি দেশে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারদের জন্য সফটওয়্যারভিত্তিক দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করে আসছে। এ পর্যন্ত ক্যাড সেন্টার ও এপটেক যৌথভাবে বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রায় ২৫ লক্ষ শিক্ষার্থীকে প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করেছে এবং দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছে।

A special Career Development and Skill Orientation Seminar was held on January 20, 2026, at the campus of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) in Uttara, Dhaka, through the joint initiative of world-renowned IT and engineering skill development institutions Aptech and CADD Centre Bangladesh. The main objective of the seminar was to provide practical guidance to university-level students regarding current and future job market demands, technology-based skill development, and preparation for international careers. During the session, students were introduced to modern IT and engineering software, industry-ready skills, and global career pathways in detail. The program was graced by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the World University of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar of the University, was present as a Special Guest. Also attending as a Special Guest was Mr. Hasan Tariq, Proprietor of Bangladesh Foundry and Engineering Works Limited (BFEW) Technical Training Center and CEO of Aptech and CADD Centre Bangladesh. Among other distinguished guests were Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Head of the Department; Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Director of IQAC and Professor of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering; along with senior officials from the concerned faculties of the university. The seminar featured keynote sessions by industry experts. Mr. Md. Shakhawat Hosen Apurba, Lead Instructor (Civil), CADD Centre Bangladesh, and Mr. Rubayat Alam Riad, Lead Instructor (Mechanical), CADD Centre Bangladesh, shared valuable insights on skill development in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering, emphasizing practical software proficiency and industry expectations. Additionally, Mr. Kazi Tanvir Akter, Academic Head, Aptech Bangladesh, delivered an insightful keynote speech highlighting the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Development, Internet of Things (IoT), and other in-demand skills aligned with the Fifth Industrial Revolution, focusing on how students can prepare themselves for future-ready careers. Also present at the event were K. H. Saif Ul Huda, Chief Marketing Officer of Aptech and CADD Centre Bangladesh; Md. Hafizuddin Munna, Business Development Manager; senior trainers from Aptech and CADD Centre; and a large number of students from various departments of the university. While addressing the seminar, Mr. Hasan Tariq stated: “In today’s world, skills are the true strength for survival alongside academic degrees. Not only academic certificates, but industry-relevant software knowledge and practical skills enable students to build competitive careers at home and abroad. The mission of Aptech and CADD Centre is to connect students with these real-world competencies.” On behalf of the World University of Bangladesh, it was stated that such career- and skill-focused seminars significantly enhance students’ confidence and play an important role in preparing them for professional life. It is noteworthy that Aptech and CADD Centre have been providing IT and engineering skill development training in more than 40 countries worldwide for several decades and have collectively transformed hundreds of thousands of learners into skilled human resources globally. On 10 July 2026 (Friday), CADD Centre Bangladesh, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering, Dhaka International University (DIU), successfully organized an insightful seminar titled "Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit Architecture: Essential Skills for Future Civil Engineers." The seminar aimed to introduce students to the importance of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Autodesk Revit Architecture in modern civil engineering practices. The session highlighted how BIM technologies are transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and creating new career opportunities for future engineers. The event was graced by Mr. Hasan Tariq, CEO of CADD Centre Bangladesh, whose inspiring remarks emphasized the importance of acquiring industry-oriented technical skills to meet the evolving demands of the engineering profession.
