Key Requirements

Additional Requirements Age 33 to 50 years Knowledge of BNBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, and other relevant local and international standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant mechanical design software. Experience in Industrial Buildings, Economic Zones, Industrial Parks, and Infrastructure Development Projects. Familiarity with Invest Bangladesh regulatory requirements, utility coordination, and building permit approval processes. Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Water Supply, Drainage, and Industrial Utility Systems. Strong technical report writing, project coordination, and client management skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities & Context Lead the design and review of mechanical systems for industrial buildings, factories, warehouses, utility facilities, and infrastructure projects. Prepare and review HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, compressed air, fuel gas, water supply, drainage, and utility system designs. Develop detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, calculations, and engineering reports. Ensure compliance with BNBC, NFPA, Invest Bangladesh regulations, and other applicable local and international standards. Support master planning, feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, and building permit approval processes. Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, architectural, environmental, and fire safety teams for integrated project delivery. Review consultant, contractor, and vendor submissions and provide technical recommendations. Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and construction supervision when required. Support authority approvals and utility coordination activities related to mechanical and fire protection systems. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Participate in client meetings, project planning, quality assurance, and project management activities. Ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs while maintaining technical quality and regulatory compliance. Key Requirements

Experience 2 to 5 years The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Consulting Firms Additional Requirements Age 20 to 35 years Only Male Candidates should have relevant experience in designing and project management. Experience in an engineering firm, preferably in the fire protection and fire safety sector, will be highly valued. Sound knowledge of fire safety, fire detection, and fire protection systems. Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage. Strong technical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team. Responsibilities & Context Carry out the installation, commissioning, testing, validation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fire detection and protection systems. Monitor project schedules and ensure timely progress of installation and commissioning activities. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects based on project requirements and site conditions. Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD across different versions. Maintain project documentation, reports, and other required paperwork accurately and within stipulated timelines. Monitor project progress and provide daily updates and reports to the senior management. Monitor and report on the performance and productivity of team members. Provide on-site technical training and guidance to clients on the operation and basic maintenance of installed systems. Provide emergency technical support beyond regular working hours whenever required. Ensure all assigned tasks and project activities are completed within the agreed timeline and to the required quality standards. Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Perform other project- and service-related duties as assigned by management.
