Sound knowledge of RSC and NIRAPON documentation and compliance requirements.
Experience in construction material testing and performance evaluation.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation and project cost control.
Excellent managerial, leadership and team management skills.
Practical experience in compliance garment industry construction project supervision.
Good understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to read, understand and update Auto CAD drawings.
Strong communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and result-oriented Manager (Civil) to lead and supervise building construction projects, particularly in compliance-based industrial and garment factory developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring all site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with quality, safety and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage and supervise overall construction activities from project initiation to completion.
Ensure construction work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
Lead site engineers, supervisors, contractors and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
Prepare, review and monitor project work schedules and progress reports.
Review and verify BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimates.
Ensure implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures throughout the project.
Monitor construction quality, safety and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Monitor project costs and recommend corrective actions to maintain budget control.
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
Support project handover, snag list completion and final documentation.
