Candidates should have relevant experience in designing and project management.
Experience in an engineering firm, preferably in the fire protection and fire safety sector, will be highly valued.
Sound knowledge of fire safety, fire detection, and fire protection systems.
Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
Strong technical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
Responsibilities & Context
Carry out the installation, commissioning, testing, validation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fire detection and protection systems.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely progress of installation and commissioning activities.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects based on project requirements and site conditions.
Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD across different versions.
Maintain project documentation, reports, and other required paperwork accurately and within stipulated timelines.
Monitor project progress and provide daily updates and reports to the senior management.
Monitor and report on the performance and productivity of team members.
Provide on-site technical training and guidance to clients on the operation and basic maintenance of installed systems.
Provide emergency technical support beyond regular working hours whenever required.
Ensure all assigned tasks and project activities are completed within the agreed timeline and to the required quality standards.
Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Perform other project- and service-related duties as assigned by management.
